Great Price but Needed Work
It really didn't make sense to put the holes for install in the track, plus they were too small. So I welded an extra plate on and made holes that were much bigger so I could use strong carriage bolts. Also, I wanted to minimize the number of holes I was putting in my Teak swim platform so this way I only had to do 4. I think it came out great but a lot of work to get it there. Also, there is no built-in locking mechanism so they provide a velcro strap which I think is going to be really awkward to do while sitting on the top of the platform. I think I will try and fasten a bungie strap or something easier to lock the ladder when in motion. Overall the price is phenomenal and it is really well made minus the locking mechanism. You just need to plan out your install and know it is not going to be easy or quick.

Works great!
The swim platform on our new boat sits a bit high, which made getting in hard for me (66f) and for my younger grandchildren. This ladder solved the problem. So fantastic! My husband said it was easy to install, even working around the wedge.

Very nice steps for the money.
I love these steps for my boat. I did not like how they mounted so I took down a star for that and I took down a star for how it slides back in and the bungie cord. The strap could have been way less bulky to allow better fastening once in place. I will be installing a piece of double sided velcro to allow ease of closing and secure fastening.

Bent and broke
Used this ladder for 6 months and it went and broke. No one climbing it is even half the weight capacity
