The adaptors work great with two different Dewalt 20V. I am good with that.However, I was showing my friend the adaptor and the only battery I had close was an off-brand high output battery. It did not work. I panicked and went out to find one of my 20V tools. Took the Dewalt brand battery off and it worked fine.Not sure why but since most of my 20 or so batteries are off-brand that is an issue.Five start with Dewalt but four for my other batteries.

I also noticed they work fine with my DeWalts 1.5/2.amp batteries, but are intermittent with my bigger heavier 4.0/6.0 amp off brand's. Not sure if its the extra weight or fitment issue with the electrical prongs with either pieces. Kinda frustrating, but does work 8 out of 10 times I need it. Still a great value for those weekend projects.
