We cleaned the giraffe with Milton and then placed it in a new freezer bag and left it in the fridge for about 30-45 minutes between use and my granddaughter fully appreciated the coolness on her gums. She still uses if now as she is growing her side teeth and the giraffes head and legs make it ideal for holding and rubbing gums even at the age of 14 months. Well worth it's money.
