I did apply 2 coats as the first coat was a bit thin and had holes. When I tried to apply to a different finger, I put too much on and it ended up running down my finger. However, if I apply to thin coats, it protects my skin perfectly. This latex actually dries almost after applying and doesn't require a long dry time. Once I was finished, all I did was rub the top and it just peeled off very easily. Looks almost like a layer or skin when it's removed. Even the extra that got down in between my skin and nail, it came off with no problems. Even if this gets painted on, still comes off with no issues. She loves the class and is always doing something with either her hair or nails. I stumbled across this listing for liquid latex and though what the dang is that? After reading through I decided to order it for her and give it a try. This stuff is pretty amazing. You simply apply a coat around your nail bed and let it dry. That way when you apply your nail polish if any gets on your cuticle you just peel it right off with the latex. It works exactly as it was intended and it has helped my daughter get through a few sets of manicures without having to go back and fix everything. This in my opinion is absolutely worth the extra step in the beginning to save you a bunch of steps at the end. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Effective! Apply Thick Layers. *by L***A on Reviewed in the United States on October 9, 2019* Works very well, the latex does protect the skin or any area from nail polish, but please make sure you apply a very thick layer around the cuticle and around the edges. It dries fairly quickly and if the area around your cuticle is too thin, when it’s times to take the latex off, the cuticle area may not tear off and that gets annoying. Also, the ends would become almost impossible to take off if it’s not applied as a thick layer.
