It has replaced a couple of much more expensive (and much heavier) torches. I use it mainly for dog walking and hiking/camping and it is perfectly suited to both. Easily carried in a trouser or jacket pocket. The customisable UI/operation is also the best I have ever used - I find the ramping feature most useful and the button backlight certainly helps, too. If I lost it I would have no hesitation buying the same again.
