Review: Well - made, slides easily, works well - Very useful Doca pole extension - I use it to rake the pine needles off my roof. It's well-made, solid construction, and works very well. Very compact when retracted (stores easily).
Review: No falling of roof issue anymore! - I have had my Extension pole for 3 or 4 years. It was a gift for Christmas. I wanted the Doc A Pole rake. I wasn’t available any more online. But noticed in is now and purchased it. I have a relatively low pitch roof & work shop that about 60’ long under a large Pecan Tree. Just got afraid of getting up there with my backpack plowed. Doc A Pole as it back in stock and just got all my leaves and limbs of today from last fall! No more worrying about falling off our garage. Would recommend for anyone who has to remove any objects like leaves & limbs it works fantastic! If worried about falling off the roof that has no gutters.

**Q: Does the lawn rake fit Mr. LongArm?**
A: The rake should attach to Mr. LongArmy without a problem. The fittings are standard.

**Q: Will this rake work with a Bayco pole?**
A: I have no idea. From what I have found it only works with their expensive pole. I have a useless rake as it won’t fit any pole I have.

**Q: My rake isn't opening wider, stuck, is there a trick to getting the rake to expand?  (I did lift the lever and push up, but nothing budges)**
A: I’ve lifted the lever and pulled back to get it to open up. Forward makes it more narrow. I love mine.

**Q: The rake keeps turning around each time I try to rake the pine needles**
A: There is a set screw on the rake that you can tighten into the threads to keep it from turning. If it is missing, you can replace it at a hardware store. Metric threads. Maybe M-6?  

Make sure you loosen the thumbscrew before you put the rake on the pole so the threads on the pole go past the thumbscrew, then tighten the thumbscrew to keep it from rotating.

I have had my Extension pole for 3 or 4 years. It was a gift for Christmas. I wanted the Doc A Pole rake. I wasn’t available any more online. But noticed in is now and purchased it. Love the product. Upgraded from the small, plastic rake part I bought 2 years ago. That old one lost 5 teeth after 3 years of heavy use. I’ve used this new one once. The metal forks work great and I was happy with the slider clamp. It stayed in place. Best of all, the rake screws on to my 30ft Doca pole tightly. One problem, and this needs to be fixed, is the screw housing immediately tore off, first use. Because of the tight fit, and the lower price I paid, under $18, I’m not returning it. If I had paid more, It would be an issue. The screw housing is a problem on both Doca brand rakes I bought, the metal adjustable and the small plastic one. So it would be nice if they updated the design with metal housing.
