There are so many of these that I have had in past where the texture is so smooth there is not enough friction for the ball point to work and trying to write is a nightmare, not with these though! They are nice and brightly coloured and I really like the packaging they come in, easy to get a new one out. I am currently studying and they are brilliant for marking the page or I also use them to highlight in the book (I don't like using highlighters in books) by using one at the start and one at the end of where you need to highlight. The amount of each colour and the amount of colours makes this all very easy to do. I don't think I am going to need more after this but if I do I will certainly buy more of these, and be on the look for more of their products Review: Perfect for organising a journal - I bought these to go organise my journal / note keeping. There’s nothing better than handwriting notes and these tabs add to that by helping organise and go to sections quickly and easily. I use on a small journal no more than 15cm in height. The adhesion of these is okay, if you want to peel them off they will and not damage the paper, i think that was intentional. They don’t easily knock off either so seems the balance is spot on. The space is very small to write on but I manage to fit a couple of words or you can just use the multi-colours for colour coding. Overall, an excellent purchase, great value for money (no brainer in terms of cost) and i would recommend based on the scenario shared. They are small enough not to be annoying when several of them are sticking out the side of the book, and they stick well enough to stay in place until no longer needed. The sticky bit is transparent enough to be able to read the print underneath. However, if you're looking for something big enough to write on, these really aren't, plus the surface isn't ideal for writing on either. And while they are reusable to an extent, the stickiness only lasts for about three uses in my experience. They are considerably cheaper than similar sized Post-Its and of similar quality. The little dispenser works well, although I wish they would come up with a design that wasn't reliant on throwaway plastic.
