Micro Brow Pencil, Precise Eyebrow Pencil - Taupe

I have been using the NYX Professional Makeup Micro Eyebrow Pencil for well over 10 years, and after trying countless brow products from both drugstore and high end brands, this is still the one I keep coming back to. Nothing else gives me the same combination of precision, natural results, staying power, and affordability. The ultra fine tip is honestly what makes this pencil stand out from the rest. It creates tiny hair like strokes so easily, which makes filling sparse areas look natural instead of harsh or blocky. I can shape, define, and fill in my brows without them looking overdone. Whether I want a soft everyday brow or a more sculpted look, this pencil gives me complete control. The formula itself is excellent. It glides on smoothly without being too creamy or too waxy, and it blends beautifully. Some brow pencils either drag on the skin or deposit way too much color at once, but this one builds gradually and evenly. It is very beginner friendly while still being good enough for someone who is particular about their brows. One of the biggest reasons I stay loyal to this pencil is the longevity. Once applied, it truly lasts all day. I have worn it through long workdays, heat, humidity, and busy days running around, and my brows still look intact by the end of the day. It does not smear, fade unevenly, or disappear halfway through the day like many others I have tried. I also appreciate the shade range because it is much easier to find a natural match. The colors look realistic and not overly warm or fake looking. Plus, the retractable design is convenient and easy to use without constantly sharpening a pencil. For the price, this product performs better than many expensive brow pencils I have purchased over the years. After a decade of use, it has earned permanent status in my makeup bag. Reliable, natural looking, long lasting, and easy to work with, this is hands down one of the best brow pencils out there.

The color is PERFECT for me. I usually use the L'Oreal Paris Makeup Brow Stylist Definer Waterproof Eyebrow Pencil in either Dark Brunette or Brunette. The quality of this is similar, and the color is actually a much better match than those other two colors (they were too dark, which I didn't realize until trying this one). Cheaper, and better! My new daily brow tool.

This is an excellent brow pencil. I have only used a brow powder for 40 years because I had "some" brows, very scant, and the powder blended well with no shine like pencils did. Now Im 70 and I've lost my brow tails and very little of the bulb. With this "taupe" professional pencil, I can carefully draw an outline and tail like my own brows, fill in the bulb a bit, use a brow brush to very gently blend and shape and they turn out perfect with NO shine. Im so happy I discovered this pencil from my 28 year old dtr who uses it.

The NYX Micro Brow Pencil is fantastic for my wiry, spotty brows. The tiny tip makes it easy to add color and fill in any sparse areas, giving me a natural, precise look. The formula is smooth, and the color is just the right shade — not too dark, not too light, and it blends perfectly with my natural brow color. However, my only complaint is that it doesn’t quite tame my wild hairs. While it adds great color, it doesn’t help with keeping my brows in place, so I still need a separate brow gel to get everything to stay neat. Overall, it’s a great pencil for shaping and filling, but if you're looking for something that also keeps your brows in place, you’ll need to pair it with another product. Still, it’s one of the best for filling in spots and creating defined brows.

Since I've come across this eyebrow pencil, I can't imagine myself with it! It's the best, been using it for years and many to come unless I find something better, but so far nope. It's thin and makes it easy to apply, I find it difficult to find in store. Thank you Amazon!

The three star rating is not about the quality of the brow pencil. It fills in nicely and gives a defined stroke for a more realistic finished brow. My issue is with the Chocolate color. It is much redder than it appears online. I use Anastasia Chocolate shade and it is brown forward with a little red undertone. The NYC is very red - almost auburn. I had to use a brown tint NYC brow pen to try to balance it out, but the red still pulled through. I will probably buy it in a pure brown shade and toss this one. Worth a try, just beware that colors may not be as they appear.

Normally I like this eyebrow pencil. I bought it from somewhere else and when I ran out I ordered it from Amazon but couldn’t remember the color I had. I ordered Ash Blonde. It would normally reflect the color of my hair (my stylist says my hair color is a light ashy brown) but the pencil color definitely had red undertones and it made me look so weird. I typically look for a blonde eyebrow pencil so this would have been my shade guess but the color was off. Next time I’ll order plain Blonde or Light Brown. The pencil quality is great and I really like the application and precision it gives.

L’un des meilleurs crayons à sourcils que j’ai pu avoir. Marque bien, et facile à utiliser. La mine n’est pas trop épaisse, ce qui permet d’avoir plus de précisions.

Wonderful product for those with dark hair and dark eyebrows. It doesn't overpower the brows or make it look drawn on. Use a light hand with feathered strokes to create the brows you want to achieve.

Étant plus jeune, je me suis trop épilé les sourcils, maintenant je les laisses repousser mais c'est très long et du coup j'ai des "trous" que je dois dissimuler... J'ai ENFIN trouvé LE stylo à sourcils !! Et je peux vous garantir que j'en ai essayé, de toutes sortes et de toutes gammes ! Des feutres à pointes fines, grosses, mines simples, multiples, des crayons, de la gelly tattoo, du mascara sourcils etc etc les prix allant de 1€ de chez liddle, à 35-40€ de Yves Saint-Laurent... Tous nul !! Les couleurs ne sont jamais les bonnes ou pas assez de choix, l'application est affreuse, la quantité de produit est ridicule, la composition n'en parlons pas et la tenue je me marre... bref j'en passe et des meilleures.... Pour une fois avec se stylos, tout est parfait!! L'application est SUPER facile, la matière est ni trop grasse ni trop sèche, la quantité est généreuse, la précision est nickel, la couleur est parfaite (pour une fois !!!), la tenue n'est pas exceptionnelle (4-5h max car je me touche bcp le visage !) mais avec un fixateur de maquillage c'est réglé, et en prime la petite brosse pour perfectionner le tout! Bref que dire de plus... Je l'adore!!! J'avais vraiment perdu espoir de trouver un jour un produit qui me convienne, puis je suis tombé sur ce petit stylo qui ne paye pas de mine (mine de stylo mouhaha) ... Au début j'étais septique et comme à chaque fois je me suis dit "bon allez on essaye, c'est pas cher..." sans grande conviction, mais au final WOW !!!! Je ne commanderais plus que celui-ci et je vous garantis que si ils arrêtent la production je leur colle un procès mdr 😂 J'ai mis des photos avant après pour montrer l'effet de" rebouchage".
