We love their botanical face wash, because it seems to work better than many others that we have tried - and it doesn't use many of the harsh chemicals that other more popular brands use.When I took the sponge out of the shrink wrap that it is shipped in, it is hard as a rock, and I wondered how this thing was going to feel on my face. After reading the directions I found that we had to rinse with water and it would puff out. After using I hang on a shower hook to let dry, and by the next day when I use it, it has dried back out. To me this is a big bonus, because it will keep all of the bacteria from growing - and stinking!! So far I have not had any fowl odors coming from the sponges, and I don't expect any in the future either!We have found that our soap lathers so much better with the use of these sponges - and we end up saving soap because we only have to use about half of what we would normally use. My face also feels much softer after using these vs. using my hands.I will definitely purchase these sponges again in a couple of months when they need replacing. ### ⭐⭐⭐ AWFUL Chemical Smell, OK Quality *by T***E on Reviewed in the United States on January 25, 2019* They're just okay. Not the greatest quality but not terrible either. They are a softer texture than some. A little bit denser than other konjac charcoal sponges I've used.THEY SMELL TERRIBLE. I almost didn't use them because of the chemical smell. I washed it with Mountain Ocean Skin Trip soap and then soaked with an essential oil. The smell seems to be gone. I bought them for my teen daughter who was having some skin issues and needed something to help exfoliate. I had heard that the charcoal sponge was a great help! They are small, but when wet become larger and easy to handle. I expected them to be more coarse, but they are much smoother than I anticipated. She has been using them and her face does, indeed, look better!
