Stash Tea Meyer Lemon Herbal Tea 20 Count

I love lemon!!! This is an amazing tea- if you like lemon! I use it for fasting in the morning- I have tea to hold out until eating. No caffeine and great lemon taste.

If you have ever had the pleasure of smelling a fresh Meyer Lemon you immediately know its different from the supermarket lemon (Eureka and/or Lisbon). The Meyer Lemon is smaller, more orange-ish in color with a sweeter, less tart flavor than the lemon with an amazing fragrance. As a hot or cold herbal tea it is excellent. However, this is my go to caffeine-free tea for iced tea. Make it with just a little honey and its quite refreshing. But if you want a real treat just add slices of a fresh Meyer Lemon (or a good squeeze from a large piece) and its exponentially better. I like that Stash foil packs their tea bags to keep them super fresh so when you open the pack you will immediately be hit by the fragrance of the Meyer Lemon oil. I've had many different blends of the typical "rosehips-lemongrass-hibiscus base" - but the Meyer Lemon really seems to pair best in my opinion. This is a winner!

I like this tea. It doesn't have caffeine, so it would be okay for an evening or nighttime drink. It's got a very nice, gentle lemon flavor. Not a strong, tart flavor like one would think of lemon. If you've ever had Meyer lemons, you can tell the difference between those and regular lemons. I might try this with a very small touch of honey, but I think I would prefer it plain. This is very good for drinking during the day at work. Also excellent in the winter during cold and flu season, gentle on your stomach and sore throat.

We bought this to add a lemon flavor to our iced tea, where we always use black tea leaves. This has no caffeine, but the black teas that we add this to do have caffeine. It gives us just the lemon flavor that we are looking for. It makes a real difference when brewing tea to add this to it. The scent is wonderful too, and if you want a cup of lemon flavored tea with no caffeine, this is the best flavor that we have found.

I am a fan of most Stash herbal teas. I have a large collection and am always trying new flavors. I was excited to see their Meyer Lemon as I adore Meyer Lemons. I am an avid tea fan and have tried countless teas. Are there more expensive teas out there? Absolutely. That doesn’t matter to me; I still prefer my simple Stash teas over 75% of the other herbal teas I have tried. I make this with ice in the warm months and hot in winter. The flavor is tart but not bitter; just what you would expect from a Meyer Lemon. I wish this was organic and 100% natural but it is not; that's why it does not receive five stars from me.

I got one packet in a gift box with other teas and had to order more after tasting it. This is a delicious herbal tea if you are a lemon fan. I added a dollop of honey, found my favorite chair and a good book. Perfect. I will have to buy this on a regular basis.

Absolutely love this tea! The lemon flavor is so good but you have to just leave the bag in the cup to get the full flavor but so worth it!
