Replaced the earlier version i had had for 12 years. Very quiet, compared to other makes. Easier to empty than the old one. Good volume container with useful handle. Very efficient. I bought another for my son who rents a flat in London with no outside space, it’s revolutionised life for him and his flatmate. Very quick, easy to move not too heavy. Clothes are dried overnight and ready to put away. Great little unit. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ What’s Not To Like? *by S***I on 12 August 2020* This is my 3rd dehumidifier (or at least, the third I intend to keep). I use dehumidifiers to manage a damp problem caused by a failing damp course in the extension on a 200-year old cottage. My other two machines each lasted approximately 7 years before dying on me without warning, presumably because they had run out of gas refrigerant.When the last one died, I thought it might be time to buy one with a few more bells and whistles; you know, LED humidistat etc. Big mistake. I only discovered after I’d bought one that these humidistats are notoriously unreliable - mine consistently failed to read the relative humidity in the room it was in, so was on 24/7. I sent it back and opted for this little baby instead.I love the fact that it’s compact, but just as powerful as my old machine. I love that it does its job, then stops when it’s dried out the air, only coming back on when the humidity rises again. I love that it’s super-simple to use (press a button and go) and that there’s no spillage when I empty the water tank. I love the integrated handle and the fact that it looks good.
