Small Doses is an acknowledgement of our connections and/or relationships to one another's experiences. It's some of our most embarrassing moments. It's some of the best decisions we've made. It's us trying to figure it out. It's comfort food for the soul. It's insight, a great laugh, and an even better read. I've had this book for two days and I'm on my second read. I am so impressed with all of the details. Every font type, historical reference, personal anecdote, story, lyric, and drawing, which all convey a sense of power in knowing oneself and the joy of sharing insights for and from our sistahood.
