    Cool looks, good project

I bought this guitar primarily for the lucite body, which looks great. The rest of the guitar is ok, the neck is playable, the pick-ups sound a bit weak and under-wound though. The soldering on the 3-way switch was a bit sloppy, the pots work fine. I replaced the neck with a MIM tele neck, and installed Texas Special pick-ups. With these upgrades, the guitar plays and sounds great to match the looks.  It is a very heavy guitar, however, but since I don't gig it is not an issue for me. With not a lot of money spent you get a cool-looking, unique guitar that can easily be upgraded - not bad at all.
