Buy (UL Listed) Ultra-Thin 12 Volt 60 Watt LED Power Supply Low Profile, IP67 Waterproof 60W AC/DC LED Adapter, 12V DC LED Driver, 12V Transformer, LED Converter, 12V 5A Power Supply: AC Adapters - desertcart.com โ FREE DELIVERY possible on eligible purchases Review: Impressively thin for a waterproof unit and UL listed - I used this to convert a 12V AC Halogen system to 12V DC LED. It had an extensive set of instructions. Apparently if you are doing signage or box lighting this may be a good unit. A lot of discussion around spacing and usage in enclosed boxes. I will include one of those pages in the photos. I usually observe this type of waterproof power supply to have a recommendation that you design for a maximum 80% of rating load, but I did not see any such guideline on this one. I installed this with a load at about half of the 60 watt rating. Placement was in the basement rafters and waterproof is a good feature when you are servicing the kitchen. Mounting was easy. The are the standard 4 corner holes. Since I had to mount onto some AC wires that previously terminated in a 12V AC transformer box, the open AC pig tail worked great and installed easily into a junction box placed about 3 inches away. This is being used in an always powered configuration with a switch on the 12V DC side. 12V power activation is instantaneous in this configuration. No flickering or issues with the LED's. Review: Saved me a lot of work and reorders - This is perfect! I had bought tape lights to go under my new kitchen cabinets, but those needed an outlet. The outlet would have stuck out of the bottom and to avoid doing that I bought this AC-DC converter, cut the wire to the string lights and hooked it all up, and voila it works! And this perfectly hides under my cabinet. Works as described. Took me a while though to figure out what I needed - desertcart should link this product with the string lights as suggested items
