Availability, appearance and functionality.
Well made, right size, appears to be sturdy, nice appearance. Easy to install (by someone with more knowledge and skills than I have). Very glad to find it available.

Not 34" as described
The seat is 32", not 34" and will not fit my Mad River Canoe. Also, the photo is of a cane seat with a natural finish. The one I received was stained with a very dark brown stain. This seller should take more care to offer the product they are describing.
