The leather has a suede sort of finish with neat stitching all around. The clasp is magnetic and works well. Inside, the iPhone is held securely and there are well aligned spaces for the phone's buttons, charging point and speakers. There is a neat cutaway for the camera and flash. Also available inside the front flap are three pockets for credit cards and a another for larger papers - but filling them soon bulks out the case and makes the clasp difficult to secure.
