They are accurate and true. **Q: Would you buy again. Is it that good?** A: I would definitely buy it again. It was perfect for my needs and I have had no issue with it at all. **Q: Why are screw plugs (covers) not included? What size who I need if I wanted to buy screen plugs for this bread box?** A: My screws don’t go in far enough to put covers on them so that’s why you didn’t get covers. The holes aren’t deep enough for the covers **Q: Is it possible to refinish this box a darker color?** A: I believe you can with a light sanding and a darker stain. I would first start with the tray inside before doing the whole box.
