Best to do 2/3rds of the lesson and Tech & Artistry books first. Very musical! *by K***A on December 12, 2025* Very nicely written or adapted to the level in a variety of styles. Very musical. Moves faster to harder music than the lesson and technique and artistry books of the same level do, so I usually have my students accomplish about 2/3rd’s to 3/4’s of those books before starting the levels matching performance books. The performance books pieces are especially musical and have a tendency to be recognizable music from various sources. We do sometimes choose recital pieces from the first part of the performance books before starting the entire books formally.
