When it came time to change the tank water filter, I discovered that I’ve got the “new and improved” filter unit that is $15+ for a replacement. No thanks. In reading the other reviews, this filter holder will work, although you need to cut off the top (it was a cinch with a pair of kitchen shears) of the unit which houses the rotating month reminder. I don’t mind not having that built in, in fact I’ll probably see it more now that it in the drawers beneath the drain tray. I can use inexpensive filters and I’ll now spend $10 a year in filters instead of $60.
