There is a lot of information within this book, however if you are like me, where you want a book to guide you through learning Linux so you can take this exam.THIS IS NOT THE BOOK.Christine used lots of examples to explain commands but there are few of them you can follow. The reason why that is because she is using her own directory and file structure that is on her Linux computer. For me to be able to follow along I would first need to create her directory and all the files under her account on my VirtualBox VM.After 4 chapters of this book, I just gave up. I want to learn the Linux commands not have to create a user called Christine then create all her directories and files that she uses to perform all the examples. Sybex missed the boat on releasing this book. It needs to be done over!! Here is a tip, used files that are already in Linux, or create new files and directories the user can used and follow to learn from. Some file locations from the exam objectives are barely mentioned. The purpose of the book is to prepare you for the exam and maybe it can, but not in an easy to digest way. I would definitely go for another book if there were any available right now. I guess it makes sense that this was the first book released. It wasn't edited for usability.
