This is simply a simulator game on farming. You start our small with older equipment and as you grow you can buy newer tractors, trucks, land etc. The only thing I didn't care for is the fact that you could only have so many tractors and hired help and such, unlike the PC version where you could have as many as you wanted and/or needed. If they come out with another edition hopefully they will be able to fix that problem. Maybe have a setup like Gran Turismo where there is a virtual garage that you can store your equipment in. All in all I enjoyed it. You definitely get into it once you get more things and land. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sons love the game! *by A***Y on January 9, 2014* We were brought up on farms, but our sons have limited exposure to the daily farmlife, although they do 4-H Sheep projects at their uncle's farm. We got two PS3 games as Christmas gifts and this Farming Simiulator seems to be played all the time. Our two sons (15 &11) even seem to be able to share and take turns. They seem to enjoy just watching each other. I haven't really observed the full content, but the boys do LOVE it. So much so that it seems to be all they do and we really have a battle getting them off of it. It is a game so they do stupid stuff with it, but I think they are learning some good financial concepts in the agriculture world. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very fun, needs a little improvement *by D***R on March 9, 2014* This is a simulator which should be indicative from the title. I find fault with this game in that most of the fun equipment and activities comes from mods which are available for download on the internet. Most are free. The games just needs expansion on the types of plants you can grow, include improved yields with crop rotation and pest control to improve upon difficulty, more business aspects, more ranching activities, add a farmers garden and ability to sell at farmers market or to town restaurants.
