When I went to wear it, it was simply too bright. In 2024 I decided to salvage the shirt, so I bought the blue dye. The shirt is made of synthetic mix of spandex and something else. I put 1 gallon of water, 1 teaspoon dish soap, and the whole 7 ounce bottle, and heated to 212F. Placed my long sleeved shirt for 15 minutes and stirring. The results were perfect, like a factory blue shirt. When in the process of dyeing, I was using a wooden chopstick to stir, and it dyed the chopstick after only a few stirs, so I would presume that this dye will dye most of the normal stuff, it is just specially formulated to dye synthetics better than normal dye would in addition to dyeing the normal stuff. **Q: Will this stain my pot or sink?** A: I used black and brown dye and it didn't stain any surfaces (I used a stainless steel and a nonstick pot and both were OK, stainless steel sink was also OK). **Q: Has anyone died anything pinkish with the blue die? I don't like pink** A: Generally, dyeing a pink item with blue dye is going to produce purple. But it really depends on the depth/vibrance of the pink, as well as the amount of blue dye used! If it's extremely light/faint, then you might be able to get a good blue color.
