Clarity is great, as is build quality. My only observation is that due to it's 'slim' profile I found that if adding an additional metal lens hood to the front of the filter the slim profile means there are very few threads on the front edge to provide what feels to be a secure fixing to the lens hood. If your not fitting an additional lens hood, and you only plan on using a lens cap on the front or additional filters - you won't have any issues.
