Review: Don't panic when you open the box - I was a little concerned when I opened the box as it seemed fragile and cheap but it is decent quality once in use. Actually looks amazing on the windowsill of my shower. Did a mix of potting soil and blue glass florist beads to create additional translucense and the plants are absolutely happy. I picked plastic instead of glass to avoid the potential for broken glass if it ever fell as it's a 7 foot drop from the windowsill.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Thinking of using this for my betta, most likely temporarily. How many gallons does it hold? Is it sturdy enough for Taco's life to depend on?**
A: A Betta needs at minimum 5 gallons to live a full, happy life. This, and any other vase, isn't sufficient for any fish, despite what ads and some pet stores may claim. If you care about Taco, get him a nice 10 gallon tank with a proper filter and some nice plants.

**Q: Trying to use it for plants, can it be drilled to have holes for drainage?**
A: That's actually a good use for this. The plastic is sturdy enough to support drill holes I believe.

**Q: Can this be hung on the wall?**
A: If you drilled a hole in the wall and secured it then drilled a hole in the vase. For me, it was nothing more than a cheap plastic container so I tossed it.

**Q: can you put candles in this?**
A: For decoration,  but they are plastic so it would melt if you lit the candles.

I was a little concerned when I opened the box as it seemed fragile and cheap but it is decent quality once in use. Actually looks amazing on the windowsill of my shower. Did a mix of potting soil and blue glass florist beads to create additional translucense and the plants are absolutely happy. I picked plastic instead of glass to avoid the potential for broken glass if it ever fell as it's a 7 foot drop from the windowsill.

I put my Summer Glory and Gloriosum in these vase with my own pon mix & no drainage holes they look pretty and been doing pretty good. Growing bigger sized leaves. I want to transfer my Colombia SP (above gloriosum) as well it’s in another acrylic vase that I no longer like.
