In about ten minutes, I had the old probe removed, this new one installed, and my pump back up and running. Confirmed the temperature readings of the water in both my pool and hot tub against a couple of digital thermometers that agreed within about 1 degree of each other. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ High quality sensors *by R***N on July 27, 2024* Our temp sensor broke on the water line of our pool pump. I went to the Zodiac website to see what they charged, and I think they (and other pool manufacturer OEMs) have a rule to charge between 5x - 10x what it should be. I bought this one hoping I'd find a good deal. This was the right choice for me! The sensor and wire were identical to all the other models I found online (and it's really just a simple wire, so it shouldn't be that expensive). This particular item had two for the price of one (or the price of zero, if you compare to the manufacturer items!). I replaced our sensor 3 months ago, and it's still running strong! And I have a backup in case this or the other (air temp) sensor breaks. My only recommendation to other customers is to have some silicone seal/lubricant meant for o-rings and gaskets on pool equipment. Be careful, because some of them are made with alcohols which can degrade rubber.
