All of the metal has a clean and solid finish, unlike some other products I've used. The tools work well with the grommets as well. The metal grommets are nicely made and the tools to form them into shape work well. The hole punch tool is pretty hopeless though. Very blunt and just made a dent in the leather I was trying to cut through.
