All of the cards are exactly the same. So if you are wanting several different cards for one child this may not be the right set for you. But, if you are wanting to teach multiple children at the same time, this is a great set. Either way my children really enjoy playing with it. And think the animals are adorable. The activity guide really is not a guide. It is just a piece of paper that says you can use them to sort, estimate, add, subtract and for math stories, but doesn't give you stories to tell. You have to come up with you own stories and as a busy mom that is not easy to come up with new math stories every time your child want to play with it. The only reason I bought this set over just counters is for the activity guide which i thought would be a book full of stories and math problems and it is not.
