I actually research then shop for exactly what I want, so when I was looking for a bag that fit my criteria (A winter bag that is waterproof and windproof, etc), and I thought I found it by LOOKING at the picture and READING the description. So when it arrived, you can imagine my disappointment! It was neither the color nor size I paid for.HOWEVER, I did have a chance to inspect it and found it to be well made! Yes, the fill makes it very bulky, so it won't compact much beyond the size of the compression bag it comes in, but it's NOT hard to repack, you just have to do it right (Roll it without folding, THEN stuff it down into the bag). The other design features are well thought-out and assembled so overall it's worth the price. But I have to say the customer service is ALSO responsive and personal. After dealing with someone who had an excuse, I appeared to have the attention of the man who is not only in charge of the company, but who designed the bag (apparently the first of its kind on the market). Overall my experience is mixed, GREAT quality product, GREAT service... I'm waiting for a few 20 degree days to test out. I bought this for my ENO hammock system to keep me warm in colder weather. The bag requires a sleeping pad for the insulation to be effective. It's about the size of a large watermelon It takes up about half the space in my 65L Coleman pack. It's light enough though. With the hammock packed, sleeping pad and bag, along with assorted gear but no food it came out to about 23 pounds. I guess you could squeeze in enough food into the remaining space for 2-3 days along with all your other supplies ( batteries, knives, toothbrush, etc...).Those were the concerns I had. Nothing to say other than this will certainly keep you warm, hot almost in everything higher than 40 degrees. I had to give up testing it and sleep on top of the bag it was so hot and this was in about 50 degrees.Ill keep testing to give better metrics on temperatures but overall its a great bag, only weighs about a 1lb even with the compression sack. I'd say pass only if you could find a bag that rolls smaller in the same price range. To top it off I had to call customer service due to an initial ordering issue, and they were so helpful and fixed everything.
