I hate handing him a spoon to eat applesauce or yogurt because so little actually gets in his belly! I fill these up in the evening after he's in bed and pop them in the fridge so I can hand him one while I'm making his breakfast in the morning. He's happy as a clam to eat while I take my time since I don't have a little guy screaming at me for food.I enjoy that he can feed himself, and that they open wide enough I can just pick up the applesauce jar and pour it in rather than scooping with the cute, but ineffective, scoop that was included in the package. Clean up is easy, hot water and soap on a bottle brush and you're scrubbed up and drying in no time. Sometimes he takes off on me and ends up squishing yogurt and applesauce all over the floor but that's mommy error, not anything to do with the product, just beware it can happen!My only one gripe is that there aren't any smaller sizes. The only reason I docked a star is because the opening being on the side was a bit of a pain for my daughter to get used to (had it been in the middle that would be one thing, but it took a while to teach ehr how to get the food to the right end of the pouch). To be honest I was a bit weary when ordering these since the price was at least half of the other brands. I am very pleased with the quality! The pouches held up nicely when I ran them threw the dishwasher and the ounce indicator is great for measuring the amount of food you’ve added to the pouch. The plastic is durable and has a sturdy feel to it. My only complaint is that there is no smaller sizing option. These hold between 7.50z and 8oz, which turns out to be a lot. My son loves the pouches but it takes a while to finish a pouch and having smaller sizes would be nice for when we are on the go. The lids are sturdy and twist on and off easily.
