Review: Great filter! - I've had this filter for a couple years now and it works like a charm! I don't use the suggested filter and media for it, I made it my own by putting a filter foam on the inside, followed by filter media and I put a carbon pouch on top and it cleans my water so well! Even when you use this filter with the media it comes with it works super well. I have it in my frog tank and it does an amazing job of really sifting out all the gunk. It's a perfect size for a small tank or even a larger one with less water. The only problem I have is a suction cups broke and I had to like ductape the hole off and I only have a single suction cup left but I'm working on fixing it lol. It's lasted me this long I ain't giving it up!! I reccomend this to anyone, you really can't beat it for the price.

My old filter, which sat on the outside of the tank had a tube to bring the water up out of the tank and into the filter. The tube got clogged all the time with debris and the filter would stop running. This submersible filter sits right in the tank, so no tubes to clog. It has good suction and puts out a good flow of water. The filter pump stopped working after several months. I contacted the seller and they are shipping me a new pump from China free of charge. Responsive seller, good customer service.

Absolutely terrible! Does not work.. it lasted less than 10 minutes before it shorted out, taking out my string lights also. Had to reset the breaker. Good thing i had no pets in the tank or they wouldve been electrocuted. After is shorted out it stopped working. 15 minutes after opening i started my refund. Wish i could give 0 stars
