Beautiful Vanity!
Let me start by saying that I'm really pleased with this vanity. If you've already researched the product and are just looking for a review that confirms what you already suspect, then by all means, place your order. You won't regret this beautiful vanity for such an amazing price. If you're still unsure then let me clarify a few things that I was concerned about before I received my order... First of all, take some measurements to see if this is going to fit into the space you're buying it for. I happened to have a pretty large area to fill for my vanity and I was pleased to see that this is a bit deeper than most vanities that I found. I try not to store too much stuff on top of my vanity because I don't like the cluttered look, but this vanity could hold a ton if you wanted it to, all without even touching the drawer space. The drawers are the things that worried me the most. Like most vanities, these drawers don't pull entirely out, so if you're storing small items loose in the drawers then some of them are absolutely going to roll into the back and be difficult to see. (This didn't concern me too much, it seems like an issue all vanities have). My makeup collection is out of control so I knew there was no chance I'd be able to fit even a portion of my makeup in the drawers, but for the average person you won't have any issue getting all of your makeup (and probably a lot of other things) into the vanity. The top three drawers are pretty shallow. For reference, I can fit my hairbrush in there without any issue but I couldn't stand up a bottle of nail polish or foundation. The bottom two drawers are a bit taller and you'll be able to fit some of those deeper products in there. The drawers pull out smoothly and don't stick at all. The stool is surprisingly sturdy, something I was a little nervous about, and the quality of the fabric seems really nice and durable. Assembly was an absolute breeze. The entire tabletop and drawers section is shipped as one big piece. All you have to do is screw the four legs on and stand the vanity up. The mirror has to be screwed into the back of the vanity so that it stands up and you'll need a screw gun for this step (screws are included). The stool legs get bolted easily into the wood surrounding the cushion. There's an allen key included. The most difficult part for most people will likely be getting it into the house from wherever UPS drops it. The box is as small as it possibly can be, but it's heavy (though not entirely impossible for one person to move alone). UPS had a "team lift" sticker on my box, I'd suggest the same for you). The wood itself is really nice. I wanted something that looked beautiful and wasn't just a wood-like sticker over particle board. I'm sure I'll scratch it eventually but the product was well packaged and arrived without any scratches or dings. I considered getting a glass piece to cover the top to prevent scratching or staining but then realized that the mirror would likely get in the way. I was right, it would have. If you're considering a glass cover then take into consideration the fact that the mirror bumps in about an inch so you won't be able to order the exact size of the table top. I guess that's it. I hope that was helpful. Enjoy your vanity if you decide to get it, I know I will be!

Fabulous piece of furniture. I have never received such HIGH QUALITY furniture on Amazon. Base came pre-assembled. I was expecting to put the drawers together.. build it.. I am so grateful for my purchase! I love my new vanity! The drawers give you so much storage!

Decent vanity for the price
Bought this for my wife at Christmas and she loves it. I read alot of reviews before purchasing the vanity and there were several complaints about damaged products from shipping, which worried me a little. I didnt encounter any problems with shipping damages and the vanity was actually very well packed (double packed one box inside of another with plenty of Styrofoam to prevent damage). All the assembly parts and pieces were there and outside of a few loose screws falling out of a poorly sealed bag everything was in good shape when I opened the box. There was a tiny little scratch on the front of one of the drawers from the screws floating around loose, but a quick touchup with a stain pen from Lowes and its unnoticeable. Assembly was easy and took around 20 minutes. The legs to the vanity and stool simply screw in and the mirror portion is held on by 8 screws. I recommend pre-drilling the holes (be very careful) when attaching the mirror because lower grade woods and laminates like to split or crack sometimes if you just try to drive the screw in. The quality is about what you would expect for the price, its not Amish craftsmanship by any means LOL. The overall finish work was about 6 on a scale of 1 to 10 and it matches the rest of the bedroom set fairly well colorwise, which is another one of the reasons I purchased it. The drawers are a little shallow but are good enough for what the wife needs to put in there and they arent the smoothest sliding drawers, but again for the price its what I'd expected. There is plenty of room on the top for additional storage if needed. We are going to get a custom cut piece of glass for the top to protect against spills and drops that could damage the finish. For the lighting we purchased some battery powered LED strip lights from Lowes that attach with screws or adhesive velcro strips. We are keeping the drawer pulls that came with the vanity, you could easily change these out to different pulls or knobs to match other room furniture. Overall we were happy with the product and even though the craftmanship is mediocre you cant really beat the price and it will serve its purpose.

I think I love this as much as my girlfriend does!
Where to start….Well first thing is first my review is completely from a guy’s perspective so ladies bear with me ok…Thanks!!! Before deciding to buy a vanity set for my girlfriend I did my fair amount of research and asking my girlfriend random questions here and there to get an idea of what she’s looking for vs what she would want and finally what fits the space we are working with. With that in mind spent like 2 months searching amazon and different places and blogs and the opinion of other women to see what they thought as well. Finally the long hard decision came to be purchasing this item for her and frankly I didn’t go wrong the glow and smile on her face as she came home from work to see a vanity set sold me well and above what I expected haha. After reading many review on here I was at first a little worried about the packaging and shipping and was hoping that nothing was wrong but all my worries were for nothing the packaging was amazing and would rate the shipment I received a A. Assembly took me about 10 minutes once everything was laid out and would be faster with 2 people (FYI the package itself is huge and suggest 2 people carry it) Again it’s only a suggestion for all those big strong types men and women you’ll be fine :P The storage on this thing is great (again from a guy’s perspective) Now the drawers itself don’t pull out all the way out which I don’t really understand why but it’s definitely not a deal breaker. But for the woman who LOVES makeup like my girlfriends then I suggest doing what I did and buy some drawers or storage bins from Sephora (only one I really know of around my area) The top of the vanity itself is big and gives you lots of space for them. NOTE: What I do recommend because the top could seem to nick and mark easily is to buy a piece of glass and have it made for the vanity. I will be doing that and I also saw in pictures someone else did the same thing. After all you want to keep the stuff you buy like brand new!! Also I put in liners in the drawers to help keep those clean from loose makeup or whatever. Quality – For the price I swear you can’t beat it and the simple fact amazon says I saved $382.89 (64%) I’m sorry but you can’t beat that at all. The vanity itself feels and looks great!!! It did have some minor nicks on it that were painted over but you’ll never know unless you’re up close and inspecting it so again not a deal breaker for me. Well with all this being said I would recommend this item to anyone looking to buy a vanity the price is great the reviews are great and the product is also great. I hope that this review helped as I definitely loved buying this for her and the prospect of getting my cabinet under my sink again is….AWESOME doubtful but I enjoy the idea hahaha

Perfection
Let me begin by saying that I have had this vanity for 5 months now. I LOVE it. It is sturdy and provides lots of storage. It initially took only about 20 minutes to put together. The most difficult part honestly was getting the pieces out of the box. I replaced the stool was included because I wanted a chair with back support as I am 5'8. I have honestly used this vanity as a work station with my laptop. Although, I did need to throw a couple scarves over the mirror when using as desk....I'm bit that vain, LOL. I made a few modifications to suit my tastes. First and most importantly I added lights. I saw that most reviews had LED lights but I wanted the traditional vanity side lights. I had considered mounting them on the wall but decided against that because they wouldn't be flush. It took some creative thinking, but I found a way to work it out (as women do). I purchased bathroom vanity lights at Lowes. They cost me about $15. I couldn't for the life of me find any in black, so I bought them in bronze. I initially was going to keep them, but I really didn't want the contrast. So I took a chance and spray painted them matte black. I enjoy being crafty but I don't have the patience to be a perfectionist. I didn't do the neatest job... the evidence is still on my basement floor and I had to peel off some 'crust' that overlapped after the paint dried, but in spite of this it was almost foolproof, LOL. I ended up gluing with E6000 glue cardboard on the back cut from the box desk was shipped in😂 (does this count as upcycling) in order to create a flat surface. Then I added command velcro strips to attach to side mirrors. They were a sturdy but a bit wobbly and since there are lightbulbs I reiforced them with black electrical tape (crafty yet impatient). The tape is actually pretty seamless and undetectable against the mirror and lights. I watched a YouTube video to learn how to add plugs to the vanity lights. It took 10 minutes tops to do both. I also purchased a remote plug adapter for convenience so I don't need to climb under the desk to plug and unplug..cost about $12. I changed tbe knobs for crystal ones. I also added plexiglass that I got cut at Lowes for about $20. I lined the desktop with some scrapbook paper I had then pla ed some photos. I put the plexiglass on top and I love it. I also lined the drawers with drawer liner from dollar store. My only gripe is that I wish the drawers were deeper. Other than that it has solved all of my space issues. I love having a place dedicated to hair and makeup. Now the only problem I have is keeping my teenage daughter out of my room. I'm going to have to purchase another.

Very nice for the price
For the price, this vanity is GREAT. It is real wood with a gorgeous finish, and mine did not come damaged in any way (though I could see how if you have a rough delivery driver it definitely could be, remember this is not the company's fault but the shipper's fault!) I do have a few complaints which is why I knocked off 2 stars - I am still keeping the vanity and think it's a great value, however here are a couple things to consider before buying. 1 - It was very easy to put together, with 2 exceptions - you really need someone strong to tighten the screws on the stool, otherwise it will remain wobbly and strip the screws. Also, holes are not piloted on the back of the mirror and vanity to attach the supports, which you do need for the mirror to stand up straight on the vanity (otherwise it would have to lean against the wall). My husband needed to do these for me with an electric drill, so keep that in mind for tools you'll need to complete setup - photo was taken before he attached it. 2 - Like a few others had mentioned, the drawers are much shorter than the depth of the vanity, and also don't pull out all the way. For me there is still plenty of storage, I just put things that I use less often toward the back and everything else near the front so it is easily accessible. 3 - I have had this for 4 days, and already 2 of the drawer pulls have broken off. I can't seem to find any contact information for the company, so I'm just buying new pulls from amazon to replace the existing ones. 4 - (optional) This definitely needs something on the top to protect it from wear and tear. I have a piece of glass from an old vanity that I'm currently using to protect it from getting scratched up.

Perfect vanity for our master bedroom.
I found a great bargain at a resale shop on a highend dresser for our master bedroom, but the black finish didn't go with the rest of my furniture. I was on the fence as to whether I would paint my existing furniture, or buy new. I saw this vanity on another site for around $400. When I searched 'black vanity set' here on Amazon, I was pretty psyched to see for less than $300, including tax and with Prime shipping. Also, it's wood, not pressed board, which surprised me in this price range. SOLD. It arrived well packaged and in good condition. I didn't opt for any delivery upgrades so the trucking company left it on the porch, but they had handled it properly and there was no damage even to the outside carton. It's HEAVY, so if you don't have someone to help unload, do what I did: open the carton outside and carry it in piece by piece. That's not as daunting as it sounds. The top section is assembled, with the drawers also assembled and in place. You only have to attach the legs to both the stool and vanity and secure the mirror to the vanity. The included hardware was good quality and organized, the instructions were clear. The whole process took around an hour including unboxing. Most importantly, once assembled, it's a great looking piece. They weren't hedging about it being wood. Even the back panel that faces the wall, which I expected to be the heavy tagboard that comes on a lot of flatpack furniture, was wood. The finish is sort a matte satin and the drawer hardware is simple but elegant. The side hinges on the mirror are full piano hinges and are functional. The seat is a perfect height. The three top drawers are the perfect depth for makeup palettes and tubes-deep enough that everything fits, not so deep that it all gets stacked and muddled. The two lower drawers are good for jewelry boxes or bigger jars, or things like sunscreen that wouldn't look pretty sitting out. The size is perfect, as is the design. It's not an overly dainty 'little girl's bedroom' piece, but has a delicate look and doesn't crowd the room. It would probably work in a larger bathroom as well.
