Great product, damaged and Amazon made it right.
I just got off the phone with Amazon support, need to replace my bottle as it seems to have been damaged in the factory, the cap and spray end thingy were busted, a pity. I have used Pierre Cardin since the 1980s, and was running out of my last bottle. The 8oz is stupid big, much larger than I had envisioned. I do have some concerns with its authenticity though. The bottle I am replacing is one of the smaller maybe 1.5oz spray bottles and it has the PC logo in red plastic in the cap, this one is just smooth chromed plastic except where it is broken... Scent coming out of the bottle is the same as the originals I have been using... Looking it up it appears there was a production change from Europe to the US which is why the bottle is different maybe? The scent lasts all day long. Routine is shower, shave, get dressed spray on, this stuff sticks with you so be careful with how much you use. It does NOT flash off nearly as much as most other colognes and you may overwhelm yourself and others. My wife loves the scent and finds it very appealing, and she is very much into fragrances. The 8oz is a great value (assuming no damage). All in all I love this stuff. It's my go to.... And yes, your scent will transfer to your partner with any more than casual contact...

Sandalwood Memories
The exact same subtle sandalwood scent I remember from the 1980s - seems authentic to me. Use sparingly (best is 1-2 pumps) and a spray bottle this size should last for at least a decade or more. The scent mellows are the day wears on but that's not a problem.
