Review: suprisingly good for music - one of our customer's at work purchased these headphones to use in a project we are working on. We had piles of these set up in a large network to use with teamspeak. One day during my lunch break I decided to plug a set of these into my phone so I could listen to music while I was having my lunch. I started listeing to songs I have had on my playlist for years and noticed nuances in the music I never heard before with my usual headphones. I was so impressed I went home and ordered a set of these for myself. They are great for gaming too of course, but I was really sold on the music. the songs had more depth in the mids and bass tones and were well balanced. for gaming I could see them being very good fo detecting subtle sounds like oponents sneaking up on you. I found myself more immersed in the music with these headphones compared to others I have used that were more expensive and specifically designed for music. I didnt think Logitech really had it going on like that! I also like that they come with a second set of ear cusions with a microfiber fabric. I prefer these as they to not trap the condensation around my ears when I am having a long listening setion. you really can't beat the price for the level of performance you get. they do make a wireless version too, but I wanted the wired for the music because I figured the wire has less loss than bluetooth, but if you insist on going wireless they make a version that does that for you and the price is quite reasnable.

**Q: Are the earcups more comfortable than the steelseries arctis lineup?**
A: I just picked these up because the Arctis Pro headset was not comfortable enough for me to wear for more than 15 minutes at a time before they started bothering me.  I even replaced their earpads with better versions from Wicked Cushions and it wasn't enough to make the headset bearable.  The Logitech G Pro X Wireless headset is so much better in terms of comfort.  I wore them yesterday (after they were delivered) for 5 hours without any issue.  I did swap out the pleather pads for the  cloth, but both come in the box.

**Q: Does this come with the mic? Why does the name say "without mic"?**
A: Yes comes with a mic. It can be unplugged from the head set when you dont need it.

**Q: Will the logitech g pro x work on xbox one**
A: Yes it will work BUT you will not get surround sound, “BLUE voice” or anything else reserved for PC w/ the application installed and running. 

THIS has got to be THE reason for the highly questionable “user rating” here for this particular product. 

It IS pretty clear (if you read) that this product & features have been designed to work with PC’s and not other applications. 

The phase “does it work” is A LOT more nuanced in the case of these Logitech G Pro headset.

**Q: How heavy are they? too heavy for a very small woman? i thought the corsair voids were too large/heavy, are these anything like that? thanks!**
A: They are semi bulky but not heavy on the head I had the Astro 10 and they were too heavy for long term use these are lighter than those I can keep them on for 10 hours and not feel my neck hurting

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect for casual and professional work

Pretty much a jack-of-all-trades in terms of performance, quality, etc. Does everything pretty well and has a lot of nice features like 7.1 surround and 50mm audio drivers. It comes with a carrying bag and a set of fabric ear pads in case you don't like the leather ones (the leather ones are better IMO) The mic sounds decent, nothing to rave over but its better than most for the price. Audio quality is great, not a whole lot of bass but that's by design. Fairly good in games like Rainbow Six Siege where listening to sounds is crucial. The one thing that could use work is the software support. Its ok, but the biggest offender is the surround sound toggles within the Logitech software. Most of the time when enabled the audio will sound tinny and distant (like hearing through a wall) basically very flat audio. Its pretty much unusable for me for 99% of applications. I have no idea if its a software issue, firmware issue, or just user error but nevertheless its something to keep in mind. Comfort wise its very comfortable even during long sessions. Its well padded in all respects. Overall, It's a great headset with a few quirks but nothing crazy. One of the best wired headsets I've used to date (coming from older Astro and Turtle Beach headsets) 10/10
