Huge step up from the styrofoam bar bells. Need to be mindful that in order to get the best pool workout, you need to fill with air, not water. With the end caps on and the extra fins I was really impressed with the amount of resistance. No longer having a lap pool, I needed to look for products that will maximize my workout. These fit the bill! Webbed gloves, Aqua Sphere Stationary Swimmer and now the spa bells! Yahoooo! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Spabells work Great! *by P***S on July 15, 2011* These Spabells are great! I have a pool that is too small to swim laps in, but with the Spabells I can just stand in 3'-4' of water and do a bunch of different upper body exercises; some for general conditioning and some specifically geared to strengthen my forehand and backhand stroke as well as my golf swing. The basic Spabell is very versatile, but the Power Vanes really add a ton of resistance. When I use the Dome Caps to convert the Spabell to a flotation device to do deep water running exercise or leg kicks I also use a pair of swim fins to add resistance for my legs. Overall, the Spabells provide a challenging, but enjoyable total body workout.
