I can't help but fall in love with him even more. In Forever Black, I found him egotistical and cold but in this book, I found myself smiling and swooning because he was a real charmer. He's such a sweet guy and the all the things he did for Elle. Wow! He's such a swoon-worthy kind-of-guy that every girl wish she could have in her life. I liked this book and I am thrilled that there's a third book on the way. This book tackled real issues in life that every couple faces everyday. The issues between Elle & Connor were realistic enough and I felt connected to their characters. I felt that the author has improved her narrating skills as compared to the first one. She has written a wonderful love story that has the perfect balance of angst, romance and humor. I guess every one wants to read a great story with a HEA ending and this book is a perfect example of it. I am glad that despite all the obstacles that Ellery& Connor went through, they have overcome all of it because of their genuine love for each other. I have so many things to say about this book but right now my thoughts are scattered all over the place...hahaha! But I guess I can describe it in one word - unputdownable! A story that would be etched forever in my memory. A book that I would definitely read again because I want to re-live all the emotions I felt the first time I read this. Great story. A.must.read.... ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ True Happiness *by C***E on April 11, 2021* The author has definitely established a stronger and greater bond between Connor and Ellery. Their test of their love continues to reaffirm their belief that they are the one for the other. Ellery and Connor's fears escalate to a higher level and their timing together faces so many interruptions/challenge s. You wonder when will they learn to disagree and compromise. Their fights cause them to be a part too much but it make them long to be together even more so. The author leaves no mystery about their journey, the pain and their fears. She build their layer of strength slowly just like their love for each other. They have a great friends to help each other along the way. Denny is a wonderful friend and strong father figure for Connor . His words of wisdom is always on point and the right words of encouragement. It may make you wonder if he was his actual father sometime. Ellery has experienced a lot of pain at such a young age and to have the love and support she has from both her lover and friends is wonderful. You want the happy ever ending because these two deserve it. Sandi Lynn dishes it all up. I only wished Ashlyn's downfall had happened much sooner but that little twist helped spice up the near end of this book. Connor chose to focus on a constant and more positive thing, his love for Ellery and their new beginning together. Connor"s doctor, Dr. Taub, Denny, Peyton, Henry, Mason and Landon are great friends that help reinforce these two foundation and strength. You want be disappointed with this book. You have keep reading the next and following their journey because Sandi Lynn keeps drawing you in page after page til you have to know what comes next. Connor has become a better man along the way and his love for Ellery is stronger.
