Review: It does what says it does. - I'm very happy with my Satori. I bought it knowing it is not a smart trainer, it is only a power meter (that give you cadence too). And it performs perfectly for me. I just wanted to get into Zwift in a good manner with some simulation. So this is my experience: conecting to Tacx app was easy, I only use for calibration frequently. With Zwift, was really simple after I opened my account. Firts I was using Bluetooth and the mobile app with my phone mirroring a TV with chromecast. But my heart rate monitor was not able to connect, so I decided to buy an inexpensive USB ANT+ Stick an Adapter and I was able to connect easily to Zwift in the computer. So, Satori connects easily to Zwift. Installing my bike is easy, I use an old Pinarello Treviso with quick release and mounting and engaging the roller is easy (just you have to push hard to engaged and disengage tire and roller). The manual resistance is great when hitting hills or wanting to generate more power. You can be in a good cadence and then increase resistance without shifting, or leave a fix resistance and shift for higer gear. You have options. Now, since not all cyclist are equal, the Satori is good for me since I'm not competitive anymore (however I'm racing in Zwift and chasing and drafting younger kids). I ride outside weather permitting everytime I can (between 30 to 50 km). And I'm 63. So, if you want an inexpensive, almost smart, trainer to have fun in Zwift this is the one. By the way, no noise at all- I live in an apartment and my wife can watch TV about next room with open door and no complain from her or neighbors. Fully recommend for someone with my profile.
Review: Ah, those thrifty Dutch - They must have saved some serious Euros by not providing a printed instruction manual. My unit arrived, I got it set up easily - 5 stars for that part - but.... My unit refused to pair with my PC. It turns out the unit is A) battery powered and B) you have to turn it on. Lacking instructions, I did not try to turn the unit on - the power switch is a tiny, almost invisible black button near the flywheel. When you press it, a red light is supposed to begin blinking, and then you know you're ready to to go. Or you would if A) printed instructions were included or B) your unit arrived good batteries. My unit arrived with a corroded battery, so it wouldn't power on, but lacking instructions, I didn't know it wasn't powering on. Oh, and there is a C. C) the battery compartment uses a t10 star bit to remove, but A) you don't know that because there aren't any instructions and B) there's no star bit included in the package. OK, after twelve frustrating hours, I learned the unit might not be connecting with the PC because the batteries might be dead. The batteries? Yes, you numbskull, the batteries. Found the battery storage compartment, found my t10 star bit, replaced my nicely branded, corroded TACX batteries, and now I am in business. So we're back to four stars. Connected with Zwift easily, tried a short ride, just enough to make sure everything was connected, and I'm off to the races. With temps in the 0-30 degree range here in Missouri, this little unit is going to get me two to three months of structured training. I will be ready to ride come April having done structured, measured workouts. At my age, with not so many years left to me (I'm about to turn 73), structured, measured workouts are critical to achieving yearly goals, and yes, I have them. Great little unit. Very happy with my purchase. Highly recommended. Strongly suggest to TACX that they include a printed instruction manual, though.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great bike trainer - great workout
*by J***M on January 27, 2019*

I have been using this trainer for about three or four weeks now, and I have no complaints about it. It works well and provides a great workout for the indoor season. The sky seems to be the limit with how difficult you want to make your spin. I haven't ventured into everything the app has to offer, but I do enjoy the data and stats generated during each workout. I would recommend this trainer.
