My nearly two year old is on the small side and is wearing mostly 18 month pants, so I bought these in size 18 months assuming I could roll them up a bit if they were a bit large and didn't want to size down to 12 months since I knew they'd be too small. Well, they fit, but they fit so tightly that my poor little guy could barely walk in them. He wore them as a ring bearer in a wedding and they came off shortly after the ceremony because he was so uncomfortable. Seems to be like this for most boys dressy clothes. I ordered at 2T and they fit perfectly. Had to cinch in the waist but he is very thin in the waist anyway. The length was perfect.
