Kale "Dwarf Siberian Improved" is Open Pollinated and generally ready 55-75 days after seeding. Slow to bolt and with a higher tolerance of warmer weather. Dwarf siberian Improved is an good choice of Kale for the home gardener. The long stalks are excellent for salads. The dark green frilly leaves create a 24 inch rosette when mature. Kale has more vitamin K than any other fresh food source and is excellent for the liver. Height: 1 ft. to 1.17 ft. Width: 0.83 ft. to 1.25 ft. 1st. I am an above average gardner..I was only able to achieve a 1 out of 100 germination rate (approx) for this kale.Amazon is not at fault for this, but seed buying should NOT be done on Amazon!
