Review: Perfect!...for my situation - I was coming from a decade old budget mic, so the swap to this microphone was like magic. I’ve used it for voice-chatting and hobby video-recording, and the sound quality’s great! Obviously it isn’t studio quality that I hear from some other youtubers, but those get crazy expensive. As someone who’s doing this just for fun, it’s perfect. The cord’s long enough that I can keep it a comfortable distance from the computer, and the range is decent enough that I can lean back/spin around in my chair and still be picked up over discord. I chose this mic over a headset for two reasons. One, the hobby video-recording, which needs to pick up a few people around the computer. Second, I already had a pair of bluetooth headphones that I loved and wanted to continue using. If you’re just looking for something to use for average gaming that isn’t a headset, this is a perfect solution. However, for other situations it might not be the best.
