This little keypad is lightweight and has fantastic battery life as long as you turn it off after use. My issue was that after charging it, the number keys would not register! Only the backspace and symbol keys would work. After an extensive Google search, I suspected it had something to do with the NUMLOCK status on my laptop but my small laptop did not have a NUMLOCK key so I was stumped. I was ready to ditch it when I finally went to their website and found a contact address for tech support. I sent them an email and within minutes received a call from Ontario Canada! The problem was indeed that the NUMLOCK function on the laptop was turned off and since I did not have a dedicated key for it, I had to actually call up the onscreen keyboard and enable it that way. As soon as that was done, the keypad worked perfectly! I hope this helps someone else as i saw that someone had this issue and returned the devices. Please try this before you give up! Macally Bluetooth Number Pad Pros: Bluetooth – no adapter required Portable – easily the lightest and most compact of the ones I tried: I could slip it in my backpack or laptop case Very quiet: comparable to a laptop keyboard Cons: USB Micro – biggest problem for me: it is 2025, I want everything I carry to use USB C. I don’t want to keep a USB Micro cable around just for this thing. Typing Quality – it feels cheap and sounds cheap: keystroke action and response are not impressive. The keys are hard to feel, so it’s difficult to quickly position my hand. No customization – can’t change keycaps, or keys, and can’t program keys. Ultimately, I didn’t keep this number keypad because of the USB Micro. I think it would have been fine to use while traveling, but I am not carrying a USB Micro cable just for this. Context: I recently started a remote job that I need a number keypad, and my work laptop doesn’t have one. I couldn’t decide which one to get so I grabbed several different options to try. Things in order of importance to me: Bluetooth (not a 2.4 Ghz adapter because I want to keep the USB ports open), portable (I might have to travel with it), sound (not too loud in case I am working in a public space), typing quality (preferably mechanical keys), and customizable (hot swappable keycaps and keys and maybe programmable). I didn’t extensively use each: I assume all of them work so I tested most of them without connecting them.

I ordered it in August 2025, and it has already stopped working for me. This is my second time purchasing this product, and I'm still experiencing the same issues.

After 18 months I was having connectivity issues between my Mac and the 10 key. Gave it a bad review and all. I believe the issue was the latest iOS update, had to delete a bluetooth file off my Mac, restarted and reconnected the 10-key. All seems to be fine now. The 10-key works great, I would have gotten rid of my keyboard all together and bought one with the 10-key included, but my magic keyboard has the finger print and I want to keep it. It was definitely important for me to have a 10-key since I work a lot in Excel, this is perfect for what I need!

Funciona y cumple con lo descrito, facil conexion con MAC, no le doy 5 estrellas ya que por el cambio de idioma 2 botones no hacen lo que viene en el pad pero no es impedimento para usarlo.
