Sizing: Measure the width of the hand across the MP joints on the dorsal surface. Measure the fisted hand from the radial side of the second MP head to the ulnar side of the fifth MP head. Medium: 2-3/4" to 3-1/4". Trim with scissors to adjust fit. Product dimensions: Medium: 10"L flat (hand section); Longest finger closure strap is 3"L Review: Great brace to stop hand pain while moving or staying still - This brace stops my back of hand pain and see slight swelling back of hand. Just reaching for salt shaker sometimes gave a sharp stabbing pain. This eliminates most of the pain and I am able to do more using my hands while wearing it. I put pinky and next finger under the 2 straps instead of one finger per strap. This pulls my 2 fingers and greatly improved my abilities to use hands- I have rheumatoid arthritis and these are my favorite braces. A hand therapist recommended this to me. I use one for dress up and one for working and I hand wash with straps in place and put in front of air vent to dry. That is how you determine the size small, medium, large . **Q: How do you clean the ulnar deviation strap?** A: My Mom puts it a drink container that has the wire ball for mixing in it , adds a little dish soap, shakes it and sometimes lets it sit for awhile then rinses it and hangs it to dry.
