You're looking for a batter head. **Q: Can I use these as bottom heads for my Toms?** A: Yes, that’s their intended use. I replaced my G1 clear heads on the bottom of my toms with the Resonant Glass and they sound remarkably better. Quick-ish decay and a powerful attack make for a drum sound I'm very happy with. If you're looking for warm, sustaining ring I'd stay away from these and go with those weird looking "fiberskyn" heads. I had a "warm" phase while playing drums but I'm back to big sound that sounds fantastic when mic'd up.
