Why the price difference between right and left?

Several factors can determine price such as competition demand and supply. Vendors are constantly competing on Amazon to beat each others price and be the lowest price. Could be a vendor has a lot more of rights then lefts and decides to lower price on rights to move items quickly. Alot of factors can go into price of an item

Is this a 'hinged' tru-pull? that seems to be a separate items with embedded not 'removable' hinges?

Other answer is incorrect it has small low profile hinges which can be removed.

Im considering using this for wakeboarding. Is this suitable to be used in a freshwater lake occasionally?

Possibly but it is a hand wash type of item. I haven't used it with water but my assumption would be if you clean it and let it dry well each time it's possible it would hold up and be fine. I sweat pretty bad with my exercising and it's been doing great.
