When they arrived, I continued working on the project but, to my dismay, the Micro-Line ink was not as deeply black as the Pigma Micron ink. When compared side by side, the Micro-Line ink appeared to be a very deep slate gray as opposed to the deep, rich black Pigma ink. I had to maintain consistency of color in my project so they were returned. Having said that, for someone starting out who does not have that specific a need for deep color saturation, the pens would be perfect. They are of good quality and work smoothly.One minor point: the tip size is printed on the pen cap but not on the body of the pen. If you're working with multiple pens and the pens become separated from the barrels, there is a good chance that the wrong cap could end up on a pen, indicating an incorrect size. Pigma pens have that info on the cap AND on the barrel so they can always be matched up.
