The back of the box does not Valmiki, it says Tulsidas, who is the author of the Ramcharitmanas and also wrote the Hanuman Chalisa! The Ramcharitmanas is a more devotional Bhakti-heavy version of the lives of our heroes than the Ramayana which is more historical. That being said, this is a wonderful deck for giving you insight if you love the work of Tulsidas or feel connected to the heroes and gods of either version. As you can see in the instructions, though, this is indeed sections from The Ramcharitmanas. It is a gorgeous deck, the cardstock and book are wonderful and the instructions are very simple. It’s an unusual oracle, to be sure, but it has already given me deep insight and can do the same for you if you follow the instructions to meditate on your question before hand and meditate on your answer afterward.
