First off we had a lot of fun as a family helping our son get all the pieces out. It felt more like an activity than a toy which is great and for me brings a sense of more value. It is packaged well to prevent breakage. The digging tool is super durable. All the items that could be damaged by the sand stuff are wrapped in plastic and the ooze has a screw on lid with moisture cap in it.
