one of the valves was loose inside the plastic molded container where the pot is turned -- wish i realized it before i wired and mounted it up - but oh well - lost maybe 1/2" of line and this pack included many valves so i just replaced with another. the other 2 i am using work fine. no noticeable air leaks and i don't have the best crowns on the line either. very satisfied

Great price for inline flow controls for Halloween props!
If you build Halloween props like I do, and need an inexpensive inline flow control, these inline 1/4” pneumatic flow controls are great for the price. I paid as much for 1 piece almost just like these a couple years ago, as I just did for a five pack of these (and people are complaining about tariffs. What tariffs?!). Make sure you pay attention to the arrow on the body of the flow control. It needs to go toward your solenoid, or the flow of air.

Significantly reduced cfm even at wide open setting. Will work fine if you want to drastically slow down air cylinder stroke.

Lets burst of high flow air through before limiting. Even as the most downstream valve.
Lets a burst of fast flow through before limiting flow, maybe backlash in the valve mechanism. Put the solenoid valve upstream of this flow reducer and still getting a big flow inrush which is damaging to the mechanical linkages.

Item defective AND misleadingly advertised
- One of the retaining rings is missing. The item is packaged individually as for retail sale so it could not have fallen during shipping. It was simply not in there. - the picture shows 2 valve. It is purposely misleading to let you think you buy 2 units. I would call it false representation. You cannot pretend the goal was to show both sides of the piece as of the picture showing the exact same thing. By examining the real thing, there is a symbol marking on only one side, not on both.
