A: 8 as each tile is 1foot square

**Q: Will weeds grow through this? Id like to put over paving for kids to play on**
A: Without a barrier, yes things could and would grow through it

**Q: Do these get hot in the sun**
A: No, not at all

**Q: Would they stay secure on a sloping garden on top of soil?**
A: Unlikely. You'd be better putting down seeds and getting real grass for a slope. This is for flat ground and should have a porous base underneath

These grass tiles are very good, the grass blades are a combination of greens and browns so look more like real grass than the other artificial grass you can get. They do shed a little when first used however that is to be expected, they are easily to install and click together securely. They seem robust and hardwearing but time will tell.The only thing I don't like is the price, I didn't realise you only get 8 tiles which is hardly enough to set a chair on, they are good if you only have a small area, need drainage or will only be using it during specific times of the year and needed to remove it easily.
