When output to my Philips Quadraphonic Home Stereo amp and vintage speaker cabs with 12 inch woofers the EQs on this Numark Mixer can really tweak the levels to boost massive bass frequencies and playing with the mids and highs really feels like you are in control of the mixdown of any tracks you pump through it, as well as bringing the voices, score, and sound effects to all new live when watching films. I can't tell you that other reputable DJ brands are better or worse, but I can tell you this: DO NOT waste your money on cheap stereo gear from some name you have never heard of and that hasnt been around for ages. You can't possibly go wrong with Numark mixers. And my personal experience with this one has me wanting to stick with the brand for life.
