Karlsten Spider Killer Spray x2 | Double Strength Advanced Pest Control Formula for Fast Spider Elimination – Indoor & Outdoor Use

I’m genuinely impressed by the Karlsten Spider Killer spray. I live in an old house that seems to attract spiders every autumn, and this has made a noticeable difference. I sprayed around window frames, door edges, and corners, and within 24 hours I saw far fewer eight-legged visitors. It doesn’t have a strong chemical smell (more like a mild cleaning product), and it dries quickly without leaving residue. I appreciate that it’s effective both indoors and outdoors I even used it in the shed. Tip: spray again every couple of weeks if you live somewhere spider-prone. It’s not cheap, but it does what it promises, and I’d rather pay for peace of mind than wake up to spiders on the wall!

The solution itself is great for killing spiders. Small ones die almost instantly, larger ones will die too but will take longer. It's best use is for creating a protective barrier around window and door entrances. The only problem is that the spray function stops working when there is about 25% left in the bottle, which is very frustrating given the high price.

So for my first rental, I've managed to find myself living on a farm in a converted barn. Here's something to be aware of, for those of you who are either city dwellers or just dumb (like me), spiders really like old wooden buildings with billions of dark nooks and crannies to live in. Both outside and inside. Fun! Despite my spine-chilling dislike of spiders, I generally try to catch them and put them outside. However when the blasted thing manages to cram itself into a nook which is the corner of your window, meaning it's impossible to get in a jar, and you very stupidly put your bed directly under that window because you liked the idea of falling asleep under the stars, you have to figure out other ways of dealing with uninvited, hairy guests. (Not talking about my dad, he at least has the decency not to come over unless he's invited.) So I ordered this. Two spray bottles, one to keep to hand upstairs, and one to keep to hand downstairs. I was pretty skeptical to be honest, but I needed to try something. Anything. By this point I'd dragged my bed away from my window so I could get right up into that nook and blast it with the spray. The spider came out immediately and was clearly not having a good time as it did so, and once it was truly dead and done for, I could get rid of it quite easily. I very thoroughly saturated that nook and I have not had issues in the two years I've lived here since. I've also had the great pleasure of blasting it on spiders outside as well. Spiders seem to love climbing over my garden furniture when I store it away for the winter, so I just absolutely destroy them with the spray and that deals with them nice and quickly. I've seen other reviewers complain about the spray bottle itself not working after a while, but I honestly can't say I've had that experience - I find I need to use so little of the stuff that over two years later I still have both spray bottles on hand. It kills spiders, I can kill them at a distance, it's great.

Okay, so it kills spiders. HOWEVER and this is a big however.. to use this product its a complete farce! The spray just doesn’t spray and even when you think you got a working one. It WILL eventually stop working. Initially I though fine, I’ll just pour into another spray container - but even then I fond it doesn’t always spray well like other liquids would. It’s baffling! It really stresses me out because when it stops working you’re pressing and pressing (literally hurting my hand). Then I think shall I pour it, but you possibly couldn’t. You’d go broke doing that. I really don’t like purchasing it at this point however I have a phobia of spiders and that’s going to supersede and inconvenient/stress using this product. They need to get rid of these bottles and start again (or maybe it’s just the formula that doesn’t work well being sprayed if that’s the case will just have to continue to struggle).

I bought a twin pack of this spider spray. One spray didn't work at all, the other was very hard to use and hurt my wrist even trying to spray with it. I had visions of going around my house spraying in all the nooks and crannies where spiders lurk. But, because the sprayer is hopeless, it's really hard work to spray even a small area. I thought about transferring the contents to a small garden sprayer, but decided to send these back and get a refund to buy something better. As one sort of worked, I wanted help to ask if I needed to send one or both back. I didn't get any response from either Amazon or the seller. Because the sprays don't spray, I don't know if the product eradicates spiders!

Holy Moley!!! This spider spray works.... I sprayed all the wall edges and behind the sofas and left it. I went to dust and Hoover behind them this weekend and OMG I found FOUR HUGE dead spiders!! I sprayed two weeks ago. Freaked the hell out of me but so happy they're dead rather than me screaming the house down and sprinting faster than Usain... I don't know how I'm going to be able to scoop them up to get rid but I swear it was not what I was expecting to find when I came to dusting. I'm going to be bankrupt though. Now I want to buy all the stock and coat every wall and floor in the house! 😊 For this arachnaphobic, it does help. I swear I have NO idea where they come from through?? I have no gaps in edgings or window. Everything is sealed well... welp.

Although the contents in the bottle are great - both of the spray stopped working. This is very annoying!! I was using the first spray for a few minutes when it stopped working, I then put the other spray gun onto the bottle and the exact same thing happened again. It has left me with the only alternative to pour the liquid, which is no help whatsoever. I shall look for a better alternative. This is a shame as I believe this would have been perfect otherwise.
